ACUPUNCTURE & QI GONG IN ULVERSTON

About Barb
Barb is an Acupuncturist of the Traditional Chinese Medical style of Acupuncture. She trained at the Northern College of Acupuncture gaining both a diploma and an MSc degree and has been practising for 17 years. She’s a member of and regulated by the British Acupuncture Council.
‘People always ask me does it work? Well it did for me! I discovered Acupuncture in my mid 30’s because of an auto-immune arthritic illness. I was facing a future of worsening pain & limited mobility when I met Acupuncturist, Lilla Cooper, who gave me hope and helped me, over time, reduce my symptoms dramatically. I’m in good health nowadays and I enjoy teaching people the simple but very effective tools Chinese Medicine gives us to look after our bodies and minds.’ (Barb)
Barb has also been training in Qi Gong for the past 14 years with Raymond Towers of the UkTaiQi Foundation. Qi Gong is an aspect of Chinese Medicine which complements Acupuncture perfectly as it provides simple exercises for the body & mind to help us restore energy and maintain health.
‘Thank you so very much Barb for teaching me Qi Gong; for imparting your knowledge and for your patience… we have learnt so much from you about Qi Gong and all those other issues which have arisen concerning our health and wellbeing.’ (Mel)
‘Thank you so much for all your help and kindness to me – in putting me back on track when I came to you in such a state! I have really enjoyed my relaxing (Acupuncture) sessions with you.’ (Jill)
